My research focuses on screening for liver fibrosis and fatty liver of at-risk populations, including HIV+ patients, patients with diabetes and obesity, women with polycystic ovary syndrome, and patients with inflammatory bowel syndrome. To conduct these studies, I employ serum fibrosis biomarkers and a non-invasive machine, which is ultrasound-based, named Fibroscan. I am also site investigator of multiple global clinical trials for antifibrotic compounds in NASH.Team Members
