Mon programme de recherche s'appuie sur des années de travail multidisciplinaire à la tête de l'une des plus grandes cohortes au monde axées sur la co-infection par le VIH et le virus de l'hépatite C (VHC). À titre de titulaire de la Chaire de recherche du Canada en études cliniques et épidémiologiques sur les infections virales chroniques dans les populations vulnérables, je documente l'incidence des nouvelles thérapies contre le VHC sur les résultats de santé, je conçois et je teste des approches adaptées pour accroître l'accès au diagnostic et au traitement, je renforce la capacité de recherche des communautés autochtones et j'utilise les preuves générées pour promouvoir le changement des politiques. Mon objectif est d'ouvrir la voie à l'élimination du VHC et d'autres infections virales chroniques au Canada et dans le monde. À cette fin, je dirige un projet ambitieux intitulé Montréal sans HépC, qui vise à faire de Montréal la première ville d'Amérique du Nord à éliminer le VHC.Membre de l'équipe
