Mes recherches portent sur l'évaluation des mécanismes qui sous-tendent le développement et la perpétuation de la forme la plus commune de la polyarthrite inflammatoire : la polyarthrite rhumatoïde. Plus précisément, mon groupe étudie l'incidence du vieillissement sur le système immunitaire humain et la fonction des cellules souches et progénitrices. Cela aidera à comprendre l'interaction du vieillissement avec la tolérance immunitaire et le risque de développer des maladies auto-immunes. De plus, nous souhaitons évaluer comment les réponses protectrices générées par les vaccins peuvent être améliorées chez les personnes atteintes de maladies rhumatologiques. Cela contribuera à réduire la morbidité et la mortalité des maladies pouvant être prévenues par la vaccination dans ce groupe vulnérable.Membre de l'équipe
