My research focuses on improving and optimizing disease prevention and control strategies for broad range of diseases including influenza, COVID-19, meningococcal disease, pneumococcal disease, RSV, shingles, HPV, measles, and others. I combine expertise from infectious disease epidemiology, clinical epidemiology, vaccinology, and public health to design, implement, and analyze rigorous research to generate evidence that can guide effective, accessible, and equitable infectious disease prevention across age groups, diverse populations, and both locally and globally. In particular, my research is designed to increase our understanding of how long and how broadly vaccines protect, to quantify the impact of vaccination on population and patient health, including among high-risk groups, and to elucidate complex patterns of vaccine awareness, willingness, uptake, and access to ensure that everyone can benefit from life-saving vaccines.Team Members
