Congratulations to Dr. Nadine Kronfli who received the 2021 New Investigator Award from the Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease (AMMI) Canada. 

The prestigious award was presented at Canadian Association for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Conference awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 in recognition of a promising new investigator who has made substantial contributions to research in the fields of infectious disease or medical microbiology, within five years of their first academic appointment. Dr. Kronfli was selected for her outstanding contribution to the elimination of infectious diseases, including hepatitis C and SARS-CoV-2, in Canadian correctional settings.
