Congratulations to Dr. Don Vinh and Dr. Alexandra de Pokomandy for receiving new funding from the MI4 COVID-19 Strategic Funding Grants to address key strategic priority areas that emerged during the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The first grant is a $1.4M donation by the Trottier Family Foundation in support of CanCOVID, a network of active researchers, academics, patient partners, decision makers, and industry partners dedicated to an evidence-informed response to the COVID‑19 pandemic. A portion of this generous gift will fund CoVivre, an outreach initiative under CanCOVID helping vulnerable communities access health and support resources during the global pandemic led in part by Dr. Alexandra de Pokomandy. The project is titled "CanCOVID - COVID‐19 Outreach and Communications for Marginalized Communities in Montreal" and is led by Cécile Rousseau et Alexandra de Pokomandy.

The second grant is to support Dr. Donald Vinh's project titled: Host-directed Immunotherapy to Fight Infectious diseases (HI-FI).
