The CORE research Day was held on May 16,  2019 at the Glen site of the RI-MUHC. Each year, this one-day event showcases leading-edge clinical, population and evaluative research guest speakers from all around the world, as well as methodological innovations developed within our Centre. This year, two of our members were awarded:

  • Angela Salomon (Dr. Amrita Daftari's research assistant) – winner of the oral presentation titled "Private sector prescribing practices for Tuberculosis patients in Durban, South Africa: a cross-sectional, standardized patient study".
  • Adam Palayew (Dr. Marina Klein's M.Sc student) – winner of the poster presentation titled "Estimation of an individual-level deprivation index for HIV/HCV co-infected persons in Canada and across provinces".

Dr. Emily McDonald and Dr. Nandini Dendukuri from our program were also keynote speakers at the event.
