Congratulations to Tho-Alfakar Al-Aubodah (PhD student co-supervised by Dr. Ciro Piccirillo and Dr.Tomako Takano )! His abstract presentation titled, “B Cells and regulatory T Cells are differentially targeted by distinct immunosuppressive treatment strategies in pediatric idiopathic nephrotic syndrome.” won second place at the 2021 Canadian Society of Nephrology Virtual AGM Meeting.
Tho-Alfakar is currently the co-president of the IDIGH Program trainee committee (RIIGHT) and contributes greatly to student life within the program.
