Aurore currently holds the position of Associate Director – Animal Welfare and Ethics at the Research Institution of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC). Since joining the RI-MUHC in 2016 as clinical veterinarian, Aurore has demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership within the animal resources division and beyond. She has been a strong advocate for the Three Rs, notably through her work with the 3Rs Collaborative and the complete replacement of sentinel animals in the RI-MUHC animal health monitoring program—a first in Canada! Aurore previously comes from a background in biomedical research, completing a Bachelors in Biology (McGill) and a Masters in Neuroinflammation (UdM), publishing her studies in high impact journals such as Science and Nature Medicine.
