A new study co-authored by Drs Matthew Cheng and Cédric Yansouni from the IDIGH Program and other co-authors from the University of British Columbia and Harvard Medical School has shown that the initiation of antimicrobial therapy significantly reduces the sensitivity of blood cultures drawn shortly after treatment initiation.
