Each year the Experimental Medicine Graduate Student Council organizes the Annual McGill Biomedical Graduate Conference (AMBCG) as opportunity for trainees within the division of Experimental Medicine as well as other departments at McGill to showcase their research achievements through a poster or an oral presentation.
This year the conference will take place on March 19th at the Research Institute of McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC).
We are thrilled to have Dr. Gary Kobinger join us for the keynote address. Dr. Kobinger is a professor in the Department of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases and the Director of the Research Centre on Infectious Diseases at Université Laval. His work focuses on developing and testing new vaccine platforms and immune treatments against emerging and re-emerging viruses of high consequences to public health. Dr. Kobinger's work on effective Ebola treatment options was presented by 60 minutes, National Geographic, BBC Horizon, PBS and several others. See his full bio here. We are excited to hear from him! If you are interested in meeting Dr. Kobinger separately, please let us know.
