Dr. Christoph Lange is physician, biologist, professor in medicine at the University of Lübeck and attending physician and head of the Center of Infectious Diseases at the Research Center Borstel. Dr. Lange’s research interests focus on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis. Dr. Lange has been a leader on a number of committees such as the Tuberculosis Network European Trialsgroup, the TB group of the European Respiratory Society, the Mycobacteriology section of the German Society of Infectious Diseases and the Infectious Diseases Assembly of the European Respiratory Society Dr. Lange has been published in journals including PLoS Medicine, the European Respiratory Journal, Emerging Infectious Diseases Journal and the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
