The IDIGH Work In Progress (WIP) lunch seminars are organized by the IDIGH Trainee Committee. The graduate students as well as post-docs of the program are encouraged to present their latest and exciting research at these weekly seminar lunches. These gatherings will provide a platform for trainees to communicate their findings, improve their presentation skills, and receive valuable timely feedback from the diverse scientific community that makes up the IDIGH research program.
Supervisors and all laboratory staff are equally encouraged to attend the seminars and participate in discussions.
Every WIP seminar features one trainee’s presentation (~30 min) as well as 10 minutes of product/service highlights from a sponsor. Lunch will be provided and vary each week for the WIP series (Pizza, BBQ chicken, Sushi, etc.).
All WIP lunch seminars take place every second Wednesday (noon to 1 PM) in room EM1.3509 at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) of the Glen.
