Mon programme de recherche vise à faire avancer le développement de vaccins protecteurs contre le VIH et à comprendre comment parvenir à une guérison fonctionnelle du VIH. L'un de mes projets de recherche financés par l’IRSC porte sur les mécanismes qui sous-tendent la résistance à l'infection par le VIH et la maîtrise virale sans traitement dans un sous-ensemble rare de contrôleurs d'élite infectés par le VIH. Un second projet étudie les mécanismes qui sous-tendent la protection contre l'infection par le VIH chez les personnes qui restent séronégatives malgré des expositions multiples au VIH. En tant que directrice adjointe du réseau Sida et maladies infectieuses, subventionné par le FRQ-S depuis 2018, je supervise le noyau de typage HLA du réseau et suis la cochercheuse principale de la cohorte canadienne des personnes infectées par le VIH à progression lente.Membre de l'équipe
